This artifact used the program of Excel to create a graphic organizer to use in the classroom.

Reflection:

The objective of this artifact was to expand on the understanding of why we use excel and how it can be used in other ways besides spreadsheets.  While I completed this assignment, I realized how easy it would be to create other essential classroom materials in Excel that I never thought of before.  The program can be effectively used to create data tracking sheets, attendance logs, grade books, among many other uses that would benefit the classroom teacher. Students can even be taught how to create their own graphic organizers that will help them make deeper connections with the content as well as giving them a role in their own learning.
