This assignment was a PowerPoint presentation discussing the importance of visual aids in the classroom.

Reflection

The objective of this assignment was to create a presentation piece explaining the uses of visual aids in the classroom.  This assignment helped me to develop skills using PowerPoint that are not limited to just inserting pictures and text.  I learned how to add animations, transitions, and videos to the presentation making it a higher quality learning tool.  This piece shows that I have grown in my ability to use PowerPoint to its fullest potential to help me create presentations that will engage my learners in a more meaningful way.  Since I work with kindergarten students, being able to capture their attention is crucial and learning how to add multiple elements to my presentations will help my students stay focused and engaged in the lessons.
